And Achieve Them Consistently
Inspired by James Clear's Goal Setting Method, Motion helps you make the progress you were struggling to achieve using 4 main strategies:
1 Beside asking “What do you want to achieve?”, it's worthwhile to figure out "What sacrifices do you need to take in order to achieve your goal?".
It's easy to think and dream about what we could do but incredibly difficult to accept the pains and trade-offs that come with it.
Everyone wants to have a strong and healthy body but not everyone appreciates the pain of working out and eating strictly.
2 Instead of focusing on goal setting alone, focus on designing a good system.
3 Show up, stick to the schedule and check-in consistently.
You'll have a chain after a few days.
You'll like seeing that chain, especially when you get a few weeks done.
When you don't miss workouts, you become stronger. When you don't miss your writing schedule, you become a better writer.
4 Measure to see if you're getting better.
Start with a version that is incredibly easy for you.
Try to increase it each day, but in an incredibly small way.
Getting 1% better each day results in 37 times better by the end of the year.
